JUDr. Jiří Heneberk
Founder and partner of Compllex. Founded Compllex in 2004. Among many projects that Jiří was in charge of at Compllex can be found, for example, licensing of REICO investment company of Česká spořitelna, a.s. and of the first Czech real estate fund; counselling and implementation of MiFID regulation for the Czech National Bank, Czech Bank Association, UniCredit Bank Czech Republic, a.s., Komerční banka, a.s.; implementation of the BASEL II regulation at RSJ, a.s.

Jiří attended a number of training programmes abroad, mainly organized by International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA). He has also succeeded as an active member of an expert group for the capital market of the Czech banking association. Jiří holds A, AD and C types of broker licences and is frequently invited to speak at conferences on regulation of financial services.

In 2000 Jiří graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. All the while studying he already specialised in the issues of financial market (his thesis was on the regulation of collective investment and his dissertation on the analysis of the legal aspects of financial derivatives). During his studies, Jiří started to work at OB Invest, a.s., an investment company of the Československá obchodní banka, a.s. In 2000 Jiří joined a new team at Komerřní banka, a.s. focused on reforming its legal section in preparation for its upcoming privatization. He quickly became regional legal manager responsible for legal assistance mainly in the fields of investment banking, risk management and sales departments of the Prague office.


Ing. Zuzana Klatovská
Partner of Compllex. Zuzana joined Compllex in 2004 and became partner in 2008. Zuzana's main role is consultancy services in the field of financial-economic impacts of compliance regulation. She is also in charge of supervising the business and financial management of Compllex. Her expertise lays in the field of financial institution's reporting and in application of the Basel II regulation. Zuzana holds B and C types of broker licences.

She graduated from Prague University of Economics where she studied finance. During her studies she worked as a project manager in sales department of a specialised production company. Since 2001 she worked as a product manager for investment banking in Komerční banka, a.s. where she was responsible for description of parameters, processes, methodical guidelines of investment banking products and for coordination of the team during implementation of new products. In particular, she was involved in implementing sophisticated structured interest rates, exotic derivatives and financial market's emission programs.


Mgr. Filip Horák
Filip is attorney at law cooperating with Compllex since 2021. Previously he worked at law firm KPMG Legal for seven years, specializing particular in financial law and regulatory matters. He participated in number of unique projects, such as merger of management company and investment firm (including assistance with required approvals from Czech National Bank), establishment of insurance company, obtaining the licence for non-EU bank, designing various investment vehicles and corporate restructurings. He has vast experience with implementation projects in the area of collective investments, investment services or personal data protection.

In addition to financial law, he is focusing on ICT law. Filip regularly lectures and publishes on related topics. In 2020, he co-authored book Artificial Intelligence & Law (Wolters Kluwer). He is a PhD student at the Faculty of Law, Charles University. His research and dissertation thesis deals with the regulation of investment funds and related tax issues. He studied also at Georg August University in Göttingen and Durham University.


Ing. Tomáš Skalický
Analyst of Compllex. Tomáš is an associate of Compllex since 2012.

One of the most important references of Tomáš is the preparation of internal rules and documents for licence procedures of ZFP Investments, investment company, a.s., Wine Investment Partners, investment fund with variable capital, a.s., or INVESTIKA, investment company, a.s. Tomáš is also involved in carrying out of internal audits for several brokers and investment companies, for example: RSJ a.s., Colosseum, a.s. or Partners investment company, a.s. He is also the person responsible for management of the iCompllex informational website – news on compliance and regulation of financial services.

Tomáš is a graduate of master's study programme Banking and Insurance at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the Prague University of Economics. His thesis was on the approaches to operational risk management with regards to Basel II regulation. Since 2009 he works in a non-profit organization Junák, where he manages the Lanškroun organizational unit and is responsible for the organization of courses on personal development.


Ing. Tereza Šimůnková
Tereza has been cooperating with Compllex since 2018. Tereza participates in projects related mainly to the area of investment companies and investment funds. For example, it revised the internal regulations of the depositories of RSJ Custody s.r.o. and CYRRUS, a.s.

Important references of Tereza in the requested area include participation in the project of implementation of the analysis of the control activities of the investment fund depository according to the UCITS and AIFMD regulations for UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. Prior to joining Compllex, she worked as an internal auditor at several major investment companies.

Tereza is a member of the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors. Tereza is a graduate of the master's program at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, majoring in International Trade, and she is also a graduate of the master's program at Sheffield Hallam University, majoring in economics.


Mgr. Ing. Josef Otčenášek
Cooperating lawyer of Compllex, member of the Czech Bar Association. Josef focuses primarily on banking, financing and capital markets. His area of expertise also includes insolvencies, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. Josef is partner at Rutland Ježek. Before joining Rutland Ježek in 2010, he worked for ten years at the Prague office of White & Case (1996-2006) and for three years at Havel & Holásek (2006-2009) where he was responsible for banking, financing and capital markets sectors.

In 2006 issue of the Chambers Global, Josef was named as a leading expert in banking and financing in the Czech Republic. In 2008 issue of the Chambers Europe and IFLR 1000 he was recommended as the leading expert on Czech banking, financing and capital market law, private equity and corporate law. During his practice in the fields of banking, financing and capital markets, Josef offered consulting services to Czech and foreign financial and other institutions in connection with offering of securities, takeover bids, stock exchange listings, syndicated lending, acquisition finance, derivatives trading and various regulatory issues.

Josef also focuses on legal regulation of derivatives and other complex financial products and he represented a wide range of financial institutions, corporations, government agencies and public bodies in this area. Josef is a member of the Appeals Committee of the Czech National Bank.
